The first thing I noticed on this is the color. I really do enjoy your use of color on this. The pink lotus flower immediately catches the eye and creates good contrast with the black around it.
There are some anatomy issues happening with the girl's arms, though. Her right forearm is awkwardly masculine and the joint of her elbow is twisted oddly. The other elbow conveniently has a shadow over it, and I can't help but suspect it's to avoid drawing the joint there. This, however, makes it hard to tell if the lower arm belongs to the man or the woman. I'd recommend taking some photographs with your arms bent this way and thus using a reference for the whole pose.
The girl's hair is rendered beautifully, with great detail and contrast. I wish there was more of that detail in the tentacles, which could make this a very rich piece. The tentacles create a lot of interest and I just feel in parts they could have used more love.
I really enjoy this piece. It has a lot of story and interest in it. I think it has the potential to be truly awesome.
Thankyou :3 it's quite experimental when it comes to the style. I don't often draw people, but seems I don't get much attention when I do ^^' my watchers tend to expect dragons more than anything :/
Hello there, I don't think that you are aware, but the British Artists group has been closed due to the lack of an admin team, submissions are automatically being submitted and there are still a lot of people that do not know about it because of this.
The last standing admin did make a journal about this matter last month but it seems that no one really has paid attention, the group has moved here: #BritishArtistGroup Please inform as many people as you know as there are still people like you submitting to this group, Thank you! Sorry for the bother! :/
It's all good my fellow Brit, just be sure to let everyone you know that is apart of the group, as I said before- it's kind of annoying to keep doing this a whole lot
